Swarmbotics is building the ANTS system to bring a wide array of capabilities to an expansive range of mission sets.

Swarm capable

ANTS are designed from the ground up to leverage the power of a swarm. The mesh network enables dynamic repositioning, greater asset efficiency, and new swarm capabilities that can only be unlocked using swarms.

Autonomous

Specific missions can be accomplished using a variety of mobility modes - optionally manned, route replay, waypoint navigation, remote operation, and off-road autonomy.

Attritable

ANTS leverages commercial off the shelf technology to drive down costs. This enables affordable mass and an increase in overall system survivability.

Multi-mission capable

Designed with a modular system that allows various payloads for multiple missions - contested logistics, ISR, EW, CASEVAC, flight line ops, mobile security, MILDEC, targeting, BDA, and many others.

Warfighter control

Using ATAK, warfighters can take control of ANTS directly and give precise commands for operations at the point of friction.

Swarm C2

Higher echelons of command can employ operators to maintain visibility and control over the entire swarm to ensure the right resources are delivered at the right time to the right place.

Leadership

Meet the Founders of Swarmbotics

Stephen Houghton is the co-founder and CEO of Swarmbotics. He is a seasoned executive with extensive experience scaling high performance teams across world class organizations like Amazon, McKinsey, Cruise, and most recently Embark Trucks. He has a passion for robotics, innovation, leadership, and defense.

He holds a BBA from SMU, a Harvard MPA, and an MBA from Stanford. Stephen received his commission as a Marine Officer in 2001 and currently serves in the Marine Reserves.

Drew Watson is the co-founder and CTO of Swarmbotics. He is a lifetime roboticist and has built UAVs, self-driving trucks, humanoids, and countless other robots. He has led technology teams at NASA, JPL, other government agencies, and Embark Trucks.

Drew has a Masters in Computer Science with a specialization in Autonomous Systems from the Naval Postgraduate School and a Bachelor's of Computer Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
